Circumcision from Belgium
Many Belgian parents choose Vatan Kliniek. On this page you can read which of our clinics is easiest to reach, how to get there, what a circumcision costs and how it works with your mutuality.
First things first
We have no location in Belgium
Our clinics are in the Netherlands. The nearest is Eindhoven, close to the border: from Antwerp and Belgian Limburg it is about an hour by car. If you come by train, Rotterdam is usually more convenient. About one in seven of our registrations comes from Belgium.
The two nearest clinics
From Antwerp, Eindhoven and Rotterdam are about the same distance. From Limburg, Eindhoven is by far the closest. From Brussels and Ghent, allow an hour and a half to two hours for either.

Why people from Belgium make the journey
The procedure is at the weekend
Our doctors work in hospital during the week and perform circumcisions at the weekend. You do not need to take a day off and your son does not miss school.
One trip, no separate intake
The consultation and the procedure take place on the same day, so you only need to travel to the Netherlands once.
Usually seen within two weeks
There is no waiting list. After registering you usually get an appointment within about two weeks.
Same price as in the Netherlands
You pay the same rate as Dutch patients: €305 for babies up to 1 year old. No surcharge for patients from Belgium.
