From 1 October 2026, new rates apply at Vatan Kliniek for a circumcision. Below we set out exactly what changes, so that you know in advance where you stand.
The new rates from 1 October 2026
| Age | Now | From 1 October |
|---|---|---|
| Children up to 1 year | € 290,- | € 305,- |
| Children from 1 to 5 years | € 320,- | € 340,- |
| Children from 5 to 12 years | € 380,- | € 395,- |
| From 12 years | € 490,- | € 525,- |
| Sleep sedation (additional) | € 250,- | € 280,- |
These amounts apply to a treatment without a medical referral. If there is a medical indication, separate rates apply; you will find those on the page with the costs.
From when the new rate applies
What counts is the day of the treatment, not the day of your registration. If you are treated on or after 1 October 2026, the new rate applies. If it is your turn before that date, you still pay the current rate.
Would you like to be treated at the current rate? Then register in good time, because the number of places in September is limited.
What does not change
Everything that belongs to the treatment stays the same: the personal intake consultation, the procedure under local anaesthetic, the calming sedation for young children, the aftercare instructions to take home with you and the doctor's emergency number for afterwards. There are no separate costs afterwards.
Why we are adjusting the rates
The prices of sterile instruments, anaesthetics and staff have risen considerably in recent years, while our rates stayed the same for a long time. With this adjustment we keep the care at the level you are used to from us: a certified clinic, doctors registered in the Dutch BIG register and new instruments for every patient.
