For the procedure, the same preparations are made as with the classic method. A local anaesthetic is of course given.
The procedure takes place on the condition that nothing is felt.
Sterile instruments are used, among them a special clamp made of surgical steel, to close off the foreskin at the desired place.
Only once everything is properly closed and at the right size is the foreskin removed. This is what is known as a closed procedure. There is therefore no open wound, with all the advantages that brings.
