Circumcision of a boy or adult male is the removal of the foreskin from the penis. This is a fairly simple surgery that can be done on an outpatient basis.

The cost of a circumcision for a child up to 1 year old is €290.*
The cost of a circumcision for a child aged 1 to 5 years is €320.*
The cost of a circumcision for a child aged 5 to 12 years is €380.*
The costs of a circumcision with a medical indication for a child up to the age of 12 are € 480. This is because more administrative costs are incurred. In most cases this will be reimbursed by your insurer.
The costs of a circumcision with a medical indication from the age of 12 are € 650. This is because more administrative costs are incurred. In most cases this will be reimbursed by your insurer.
Additional information
*The tax authorities state that for an intervention without any medical therapeutic purpose, 21% VAT is due. You will receive a declaration from us in advance that you must complete. Depending on this, there may be an exemption for the additional VAT amount.
If, after examination by the doctor, the procedure cannot proceed for medical reasons, a consultation fee of 50 euros will be charged.
Extra options: Sleep and deep SEDATION (by means of a nasal spray and/or infusion): 250 euros. (only possible on some dates). Read here which types of sleep sedation there are.
