Circumcision of a boy or adult male is the removal of the foreskin from the penis. This is a fairly simple surgery that can be done on an outpatient basis.

The cost of a circumcision for a child up to 1 year is € 290.
The costs of a circumcision for a child aged 1 to 5 are € 320.
The costs of a circumcision for a child aged 5 to 12 are € 380.
The costs of a circumcision with a medical indication for a child up to the age of 12 are € 480. This is because more administrative costs are incurred. In most cases this will be reimbursed by your insurer.
The costs of a circumcision with a medical indication from the age of 12 are € 650. This is because more administrative costs are incurred. In most cases this will be reimbursed by your insurer.
Additional information
If, after examination by the doctor, the procedure cannot take place for medical reasons, a consultation fee of 50 euros will be charged. If the circumcision can take place at a later date, this amount will be settled.
CAUTION! From 2018, circumcisions that are not medically indicated will no longer be reimbursed by insurers. Not even from the supplementary package.
Depending on your policy, the costs of the circumcision are reimbursed up to 250 euros with most health insurance policies. This is until January 1, 2018. After that, insurers will no longer reimburse it from the supplementary insurance
